These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the AgiaEikona website, agiaeikona.com, and your purchase of Orthodox icons, sacred art, crosses, devotional items and other religious products offered through the website.
By accessing or using our website, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website or place an order.
1. ABOUT AGIAEIKONA
AgiaEikona operates from Lebanon and provides Orthodox icons, sacred art and religious items to customers internationally.

2. OUR PRODUCTS
AgiaEikona offers Orthodox Christian icons and religious items, including representations of Jesus Christ, the Virgin Mary, Saints, Archangels and other sacred figures, together with crosses, devotional articles and related religious products.
Product images are provided to represent the appearance of each item as accurately as reasonably possible. Because some products may be handcrafted, individually produced or made using natural materials, minor variations in colour, texture, finish, dimensions or appearance may occur.
Such variations do not necessarily constitute a defect.
3. PRICES
All prices displayed on the website are stated in the currency indicated at the time of purchase.
Prices may change without prior notice. Any price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted and confirmed.
Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, product prices do not include any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, GST, sales taxes, use taxes, brokerage fees, customs clearance fees or other charges imposed by the destination country.
4. ORDERS
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.
An order is not considered accepted until AgiaEikona has confirmed the order and/or processed the payment.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or limit an order where reasonably necessary, including in circumstances involving product availability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, payment problems, shipping restrictions or other legitimate business reasons.
If an order is cancelled after payment has been received, the applicable amount will be refunded using the original payment method, subject to any applicable legal requirements.
5. PAYMENT
Payment must be completed using the payment methods made available through the website.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.
AgiaEikona does not store complete payment-card information on its own systems where payment processing is handled by an independent payment service provider.
6. SHIPPING
AgiaEikona ships internationally.
Shipping costs and available delivery methods will be displayed during checkout where applicable.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on destination, carrier, customs processing, weather, holidays, operational disruptions and other circumstances outside AgiaEikona's reasonable control.
Once an order has been handed to the shipping carrier, delays caused by the carrier or destination-country authorities are outside AgiaEikona's direct control.
7. CUSTOMS, DUTIES, VAT, GST AND OTHER LOCAL TAXES
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, GST, sales taxes, use taxes, customs clearance charges, brokerage fees or other governmental or carrier-imposed charges in the destination country.
Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout:
All such charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.
AgiaEikona does not guarantee that an order will be exempt from import duties or taxes, regardless of its value.
Customs authorities may assess charges based on the product type, declared value, shipping cost, country of origin, tariff classification and applicable laws of the destination country.
The customer is responsible for complying with all import requirements applicable to the destination.
If a customer refuses to pay applicable customs duties, taxes or other import charges and the shipment is consequently delayed, returned, abandoned or destroyed, AgiaEikona may be unable to refund the shipping cost and may deduct reasonable costs incurred from any refund where legally permitted.
AgiaEikona cannot guarantee the amount of any destination-country tax, duty or customs charge.
Customers should contact their local customs or tax authority if they require information about charges applicable to their country before ordering.
8. DELIVERY ADDRESS
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
AgiaEikona is not responsible for delays, additional charges or failed deliveries resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer.
9. REFUSED OR UNDELIVERABLE SHIPMENTS
If a shipment is refused by the customer or cannot be delivered because of circumstances attributable to the customer, including failure to pay required customs charges, AgiaEikona may treat the order as an undeliverable shipment.
Any refund will be subject to applicable law and may be reduced by shipping, return, customs, handling or other costs incurred by AgiaEikona.
10. RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Returns and refunds are governed by the AgiaEikona Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
Customers should review that policy before completing a purchase.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
11. RELIGIOUS NATURE OF PRODUCTS
AgiaEikona respectfully presents Orthodox icons and religious items as sacred and devotional objects.
Descriptions of Saints, Biblical figures, Orthodox traditions and religious significance are provided for informational and devotional purposes.
AgiaEikona does not make medical, supernatural, financial or other guarantees regarding the effects of any religious item.
12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All website content, including the AgiaEikona name, logo, photographs, graphics, written content, designs, layout and other original materials, is owned by or licensed to AgiaEikona unless otherwise indicated.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, sell or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission.
13. WEBSITE USE
You agree not to:
- Use the website for unlawful purposes;
- Attempt to interfere with website security;
- Introduce malicious software;

AgiaEikona may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The latest version will be published on the website with the applicable update date.
18. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Lebanon, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of the customer's jurisdiction apply and cannot legally be excluded.
